If, like us, you’ve found yourself throwing away yet another soap bottle or standing overwhelmed in a supermarket aisle, unable to bear the thought of the enormous piles of waste we are producing as consumers in this society, you may welcome some eco swap siggestions.
We do not think for one second these individual actions are enough to compensate for the global changes we need at international governmental level, however, the moment you see one thing, you start seeing that almost EVERYTHING needs to change. Often the alternatives are expensive, imperfect and confusing… it's a journey that can be overwhelming… but also interesting and rewarding.
Here are a few ideas of the small things we can all do to take better care of our environment. Please share your ways of reducing consumption with us too. Let's show our friends that another way is possible!
Toothpaste tabs are an essential and easy swap for your bathroom.
Eco friendly detergents that get refilled over and over and over…
Using storage jars, buying in bulk from eco refill stores, avoiding packaging.
